I used to be one of those people who stays up until midnight only to find himself aimlessly surfing the internet. The next day I’d wake up late and rush to leave on time. As an experiment, I tried to create and follow a 5AM morning routine for a while to see if it changes anything. Finally, I found the best morning rituals that changed my life for the better.
Oh, and I love mornings now!
I can’t believe I’m saying that. But it’s true, I’m a morning person now, I’ve never been so happy and positive.
And, yes, it’s the same old me.
It wasn’t like that all my life, only these past 2 years when I finally started my self-development, self-love journey. I wasn’t a morning routine person at all until I realized that successful people have the best morning rituals and routines.
And I decided to become a successful person.

THE BEST MORNING RITUALS LEAD TO A MORE PRODUCTIVE MORNING
A good morning routine can really set the productivity tone for the rest of the day. While a great morning routine can feel pretty magical, there’s more to the perfectly productive day than mystical forces at work. The best morning rituals that lead to productivity is in fact a science that you can implement in your own life.
Systems, schedules, plans, and routines are all great ways to eliminate unnecessary decision making and automate good habits. Like having a weekly breakfast plan, deciding what to wear the evening before, laying out training clothes for a morning run. And so on.
Personally, I noticed that waking up last minute and rushing through the morning without a plan carried over to the rest of my day. I felt half-woken up until lunch, always had a feeling I forgot something, and overall was floating through the day waiting for the weekend to enjoy a ‘calm’ morning.
BEST MORNING RITUALS
I can’t even wait for my best morning rituals. I feel like I’m doing something amazing with myself… a miracle morning routine. Sometimes I even wake up earlier than my alarm and I can’t wait to stand up and start my morning routine. How cool is that?
Waking up really early, when everyone still sleeps, makes me feel so relaxed. The morning holds some magical power, feeling of a fresh start, it’s amazing. Having my own morning routine gave me the opportunity to be ready for the day, to be more self-confident and productive.
1. WAKE UP EARLY ( I MEAN REALLY EARLY) + GREEN TEA
Stop saying you aren’t a morning person. It’s a great excuse but it doesn’t matter. Start your best morning rituals early in the morning.
Waking up really early is not so difficult. I did it, so it’s possible!
Early in the morning, when everyone’s still sleeping…..such magic! It’s the time of calmness and peace.
Warm green tea (I’ve never liked hot teas) is the best to wake up your body and digestion in the mornings. It’s healthy and detoxifies your body and it’s really refreshing after the night sleep.
2. GO OUTSIDE
After I drink my cup of warm green tea I go outside. Start my day with fresh air, and sunshine on my face.
You don’t need to walk for hours, you just need 10-15 minutes outside. I do this every morning with my dog. Enjoy the silence until everyone still sleeps.
3. SLOW YOGA
If you follow my blog series you’ve probably noticed that I have endometriosis and because of it I can’t train hard or go to the gym. So, what I do is just slow yoga every morning.
The body becomes more flexible and yoga sessions can be done more easily. What I love about morning yoga sessions is that I really move how I like, how my body is guiding me.
4. STOP FOR A SECOND AND DETOXIFY YOUR THOUGHTS
Now, after I finish with my yoga routine I really stop for a second and try to detoxify my thoughts.
Being unhappy is a good thing because unhappiness means you are noticing the poison in your body. If you want to understand the effect of thoughts on your body, think of the best moment in your life and notice your physical reaction. The best example is thinking about sex… This is the best way to notice how thoughts affect your physical body.
If you want to make any changes in your world, you must change your thoughts. All negative thoughts affect your physical existence. It’s pretty simple – if you have negative thoughts, you poison yourself. But if you have positive thoughts, you detoxify and nourish yourself.
Pick a list of good feelings and thoughts you want to have and find ways to experience them every day. Make a list of the things that make you happy and go over that list every day, to count your blessings.
Every happy moment you have will detoxify you a little bit. The more you practice, the less toxic you are, and the easier it will be to find happiness.
5. SACRED BREAKFAST + CITRUS WATER
Breakfast is the most important meal. Big, healthy, and nourishing breakfast is the best you can do for your body.
First of all, eat healthily. Second, make breakfast such a sacred time of the day.
Enjoy making yourself a nourishing fuel that keeps you alive and energized. I love making smoothie bowls, they are really refreshing, loaded with minerals and nutrients, fruits, berries, nut butter, perfect for health and wellness! I
I try to eat as mindfully as possible, meaning eating without any distractions – TV or gadgets. I really take time to think of good thoughts and intentions while eating my nourishing breakfast.
Drinking a lot of water is the best thing you can do for your body.
Sometimes too much water could be sad and boring, but if you put some citrus in that will change everything.
I call it my happy water! But it’s also detox water and if you drink it for a couple of weeks you will notice some really cool changes with your body like flat belly and clear skin. That’s cool!
Fresh citrus water is the best to keep your body energized during the day. I prefer lime or lemon with some ginger and cucumber to soothe my soul right. Plus it is not only healthy but also tasty and really refreshing.
6. MAKE A LIST
Now, I know everyone tackles tasks differently but this is what works for me and so I’m going to share it. I start every morning with a list of tasks I want to accomplish – so I know exactly what I want to get done that day.
The reason this little running list works for me is it helps to keep my productivity level up all day long. Let me give you an example, do you ever find yourself sitting down and wondering if you actually have free time or if you’re just forgetting things you were supposed to do? Or, do you find yourself with a little free time – such as when your child takes their nap or 15 minutes while dinner is cooking? The list solves this. I go straight to my list and see was things I wanted to get done that day and I can jump immediately into a task without wasting too much time thinking about it.
7. GET READY AND GO!
I now work from home and take care of my little girl. While you stay at home all day, work, cook, play with your kid, it can get really hard to dress up and put on some make-up.
But in time I felt a bit unmotivated and changed it.
Taking care of yourself, no matter what, it’s really important. Dress up for yourself no matter what you are doing or where you are doing it.
Now I make time to choose a cool outfit, put some light makeup, take care of my skin. And you know what? My confidence and motivation came back pretty soon.
I hope my simple and best morning rituals routine will motivate you to take care of yourself and become a successful person. I know, that being a morning person is not so easy at all, but in time you will see the impact of it and how addicting it is to be healthy, happy, and successful!
