Get your body summer-ready with this Ginger Lemon Cellulite Scrub.
This scrub is incredibly easy to make at home and takes only a few minutes
The fight against cellulite is not easy, and the effects will never be visible overnight. But if you take care of it on a regular basis, you will eventually achieve long-term effects. It is obvious that the most important things in the fight against orange-peel skin are a healthy diet and exercise. Still, I have some great ideas for home remedies to intensify our efforts on the way to a beautiful body.
Did you know that ginger, when used externally, can help attack cellulite? Crazy right? So I thought I’d get in the kitchen and create a ginger cellulite scrub help us get our summer bodies all ready. Now, I know this isn’t probably a miracle cure, but if it can get rid of even one of my cellulites (is that a word?) well, that’s a win in my book.
However, before you invest in those expensive creams here is a DIY ginger scrub recipe that you can use to reduce cellulite at home naturally.
This Ginger Cellulite Scrub is incredibly easy to make and takes only a few household ingredients. Plus, if you like the smell of ginger you will LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it smells! This recipe makes enough for 10 uses but can easily be doubled or tripled and stored in the refrigerator.
How to make anti-cellulite ginger body scrub
½ teacup of sugar
2 tbsp of coconut oil
2 tbsp of grated fresh ginger
Juice of 1 lemon
Mix the sugar and the coconut oil in a bowl.
Stir until well combined.
Add the rest of the ingredients and mix again.
Your scrub is ready!
- sugar– has great exfoliating properties. Makes skin soft.
- coconut oil– has great skin moisturizing properties and makes skin soft and supple.
- ginger– increases circulation, makes skin elastic and helps prevent and reduce cellulite. Also has great anti-inflammatory properties.
To use, put a generous amount of scrub on cellulite and rub in circular motions until the sugar dissolves. Rinse with warm water. As long as no water gets into the scrub, it can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three weeks.
Use it to massage damp skin right before a shower.
Give it a try!
Let me know how you experience it!
Take care, beautiful soul!
